Alfa
75 Turbo Rebuild Progressing
The rebuild of Graham
Presley’s Alfa 75 Turbo is progressing well with the shell
assembly now underway. Virtually every single panel was damaged
in the accident at Silverstone and it has taken a further two donor
75’s to get the shell straight again! The car will be out
for the 2008 season and opportunity has been taken to change the
body colour. Further details and photos to follow.
2007 Season Summary
A truncated season this
year due to Graham’s car damaging accident at Silverstone
and Bryan having other commitments in the second half of the season.
We picked up three early season podiums and actually led the Class
A points table briefly but obviously fell back due to being unable
to participate in the later races, Bryan eventually ending up 6th
overall in Class A. Graham’s car was very badly damaged in
the first race of the year and has been the subject of a full re-build
(see above).
Both the 33 and the 75
will be competing in the 2008 – the 75 with a new colour scheme,
the 33 staying with the 8-valve engine.
We also assisted with
John Clonis’ Porsche 993 RSR during the Silverstone 24 hour
race in September, and after a Sunday morning engine change, managed
to finish the event. Pictures can be found on:- www.ctr-ltd.com
